Mr. Jimmy Lee Strong, Jr., was a native of Tampa, Florida born to Mr. Jimmy Lee Strong Sr. and Mrs. Emma Antwine Strong. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, Jimmy was very much the family man. He loved helping others.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Vernadine Strong; his son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Strong (Heather); and his daughter, Carrie Strong; grandchildren, Ka’liyah Walker, La’Darieas Strong, Na’Tavious Strong, and Ariyah Handy; sisters, Louella Bennett (Wesley) and Carrie Woodley (Booker); nieces, Ebony Lampkin (James) and Desiree (Mrs. Chancellor) Joseph (Erron); nephew, Booker Woodley Jr.; great niece, Emilee Lampkin; great nephew, James Lampkin; and a host of family members and friends who loved him dearly.
