Mr. Jimmy Parker Letson, age 70, of Valley, AL passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at his brother’s residence in Lanett, AL.
Mr. Letson is survived by his daughter, Amy Letson of Columbia, SC; his two brothers, Richard (Patti) Letson of Smyrna, TN and Rusty (Beverly) Letson of Lanett, AL; his five nieces and nephews, Stephen (Tana) Letson of Ohio, Kimberly (Jeff) Spears of Smyrna, TN, Derek (Misty) Letson, Layla Letson, and Jacob (Jade) Letson, all of Valley, AL; two great nephews and five great nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Russell Letson.
Mr. Letson was born on March 26, 1946 in Decatur, Al. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a retired employee of Knauf. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the United States Marine Corps. He loved his family and his dog, Oakley. He always looked forward to his morning and evening walks with his beloved Oakley and Bella.
