Jimmy “Marlin” Alday, 69, died July 29, 2017.  He was a native of Alabama and a resident of Washington County, Alabama.  He attended Leroy High School and was a member of St. Stephens Baptist Church.  Marlin was a welder and worked for many different construction companies over the years. He coached Boys’ Softball, T-Ball and Minor League.  Marlin loved to sing and listen to gospel music.  He was an avid golfer but also enjoyed hunting and fishing too.
