Jimmy Encinias, 70, passed away on Sat. Nov. 28, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.
Jimmy was born July 30, 1950 to Fernando and Helen (Marquez) Encinias in La Junta, CO.
Jimmy was a lifelong resident of Rocky Ford, CO. He was employed by the City of Rocky Ford for 30+ years starting at RF Golf Courae when he was 17 years old.
Jimmy met the Love of his life, Virginia Garcia in 1973. They married May 25, 1977 and were together for 46 years. They were the proud parents of Tina (Orlando Baca) Encinias of Rocky Ford and Jeffery Encinias of Pueblo West; grandparents of: Curtis James Esquibel, Briar Eileen Encinias, Cameron Jude Baca, Layla Elizabeth Encinias.
He is also survived by; siblings, Rick (Gloria) Encinias, Lakewood, CO.
He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents; brothers, Ted and Ronnie.
Anyone who knew Jimmy, knows that he had a heart of Gold, was a jokester, and could always bring a smile to everyone he knew. He had a hot rod heart; loved vintage cars and trucks. He also enjoyed working in his yard.
He will truly be missed by so many family and friends.
He would lovingly tease his grandkids the he “Loved them a little”
We will always love him a little more.
