James D. “Jimmy” Bowen; 68, of East Ridge, TN passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 in a local hospital. Mr. Bowen was a former employee of the Chattanooga Times Free Press and was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid bowler, a member of the Dixie Bowling League, and the Tennessee State Bowling Association. He was preceded in death by his parents, U.G. And Mildred Bowen; brothers, Bobby, U.G. And Terry Bowen. He is survived by his brother, Richard Bowen and wife Margaret; and several nieces and nephews.
