Fearfully and wonderfully made, Jimmie was a praying and devoted husband, father, papa, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend of many. He wore his love like a coat. His smile was like pure sunshine to the soul. He was always a helping hand for anyone in need. He put his heart in everything, from his family, to his passion for cars, stereo systems and electronics.
“Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness and who see the Lord: Look to the rock from which you were cut and to the quarry from which you were hewn; look to Abraham, your father, and to Sarah, who gave you birth. When I called him he was only one man and I blessed him and made him many.” Isaiah 51:1-2 NIV
Jimmie has made many! He may be absent from his body, but now he is present with the Lord. His love, sunshine, and all the caring words he spoke to many will be spread on and on and on. He made many and the many will create many more. A HERO in and out of combat. Your legacy lives on.
