November 18, 2021, Jimmie (Fergie) Ferguson passed away in Taylor. He was 88 years old.Jimmie is survived by his children Brett (Susan), Traci (John), Teri (Dale), brothers Roy, Harold (Pat) and Donnie (Cindy). He is also survived by his seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Jimmie was preceded in death by his wife Katherine, his father Claude (Jack) and his mother Mattie (Lee) as well as several other family members.Jimmie was born on March 12, 1933 in Algood, Tennessee. After graduating high school, Jimmie served in the Korean War from 1953 thru 1955. He held several different careers during his working years. He retired in 1995 from Temperature Engineering as a Journeyman pipe fitter and was a proud member of (Local 636) as a pipe fitter. His passions were his family, hunting, woodworking and socializing. He was a lover of life.
