Jimmie F. Williams Sr., 79, of Ft. Oglethorpe, died Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at his residence. He was a 50 year resident of Ft. Oglethorpe, and was retired from Cargill Industries. Mr. Williams was a disk jockey in Summerville, Georgia, and was co-owner of Williams & Sons Grocery in Summerville. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife: Terry Davis Williams. He is survived by three sons: Michael Patrick, Ft. Oglethorpe, Denny Patrick, Rock Spring, and Jimmie Williams Jr., Ft. Oglethorpe; 3 daughters: Jo Anna Hickman, Augusta, GA; Carla Edmondson, Chattanooga, and Tracy Russell, Fredericksburg, VA; a brother: Andrew Meyer Williams Jr.
