Jimmie Dale Akers, 82, of Aurora CO, passed away on January 17th, 2022. He was born in Henry County, Missouri to Ralph and Kathryn (Schroder) Akers on October 5th, 1939. He was a dairy farmer, and worked for Ownes Corning Fiberglass, Louisiana Pacific Sawmill and the American Web companies.
Jim is survived by his wife of 64 years, Connie. His four children: Debi, Kathy, Jerry and RaNae, son-in-law Rick and daughter-in-law Lisa, 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. His parents, Ralph and Kathryn predeceased Jimmie.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman, who loved the outdoors. Jim was a devoted husband, father, grandpa, and friend. His wisdom and kindness was felt by all who knew him.
