Jimmie Cunninghan (80) of Nutter Fort, WV passed away on December 29, 2018 at River Oaks Nursing Home in Nutter Fort, WV. Jimmie was born January 7, 1938 in Brown, WV the son of the late Carcie Calvin Cunningham Sr. and Beatrice Pansy (Nuzum) Cunningham.
Jimmie worked proudly as a coalminer and also did other handyman jobs for various people. He loved spending time in the outdoors and was a member of the Church of Christ in Salem, WV.
In addition to his parents Jimmie was preceded in death by his brothers: Carcie Cunningham Jr., Robert Cunningham, and John Cunningham, his sisters Cleva Shreves, Ruth Dorsey, Agnes Cunningham, Idabelle Hustead, Bernice Shaw, Martha Kuhn, and Mildred Cunningham.
Those left behind to cherish Jimmie’s memory include his sisters Mary Lou Cunningham of Clarksburg, WV and Regina Ayers and husband Alva of Canton, OH, several nieces and nephews and other relatives.
