Jim Mandrell, 72 of Centralia, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at his home. Mr. Mandrell was born in Cairo, son of Willard D. Mandrell and Ersie Juanita (Criag) Mandrell.
He married Joyce Mandrell on June 16, 1962, in Centralia and she preceded him in death on May 12, 2012. He is survived by a son, Raymond “Ray” Mandrell, and wife Tina of Centralia; four daughters: Debbie Harrison of Centralia, Rose Huffman of Centralia, Melinda Samuel of Texas, and Tracey Cook of Sandoval; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Mandrell of Centralia; two sisters: Wilma Mandrell of Panama City, FL and Vivian Burton of Centralia; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother, John Knapp. Jim was an over-the-road Truck Driver for 46 years and was the owner for 30 years. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.
