Jim Kellogg, age 67, of Whittemore, died on April 7, 2016, at the Muse Norris Hospice Home in Mason City, Iowa. James Wesley Kellogg, the son of Walton and Beryl (Williams) Kellogg was born on May 29, 1948 in Sioux City, Iowa. Jim served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. On March 7, 2000, Jim was united in marriage with Bernadine Bell in Nevada, Iowa. He had worked as a meat cutting supervisor at many meatpacking plants. Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time at Lost Island Lake.
Left to cherish Jim’s memory is his wife of 16 years, Bernadine; two sons, Matt Kellogg of Sioux City and his children, Paige and Colby and Len Ladehoff of Maple Lake, MN and his children Josh, Justin and Jon; a sister, Bonnie (Ron) Johme of Sioux City; and two brothers, Buddy Kellogg of Marcus and Michael Kellogg of Cherokee; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Dustin Whitson; and a brother, Walton Kellogg.
