Mr. Jim “J.R.” Rambo, age 59, of Valley left us for his heavenly home on Thursday, July 14, 2016
Jim was born in Dante, Virginia on March 17, 1957 to the late Benjamin Alonzo Rambo and Frankie Mae Sexton Rambo.
He was a member of the Plant City Baptist Church.
Jim was retired from the UMWA after 25 years of service. He was a volunteer for Carpenters for Christ. He loved his family and his pets.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy Simpler Rambo, Valley; son, Bryan Rambo, Virginia; granddaughter, Sydney Rambo, Virginia; siblings, Pansy Meade, Alice Gullett, Archie Salyer, all of Virginia; brother-in-law, Herb Simpler, Florida; niece, Kendall Simpler, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Fields, and his beloved mother-in-law, Janelle Simpler.
