….Jim started as an Electrician, with the IBEW , Local 903 in Gulfport, MS, in the early 1960’s. He served as an elected official representing 903 for B.A.T. (Bureau of Apprenticeship Training).. After retirement, he and his wife, Ann started raising a register Black Angus Herd at their farm “Tall Oaks”. He loved his dog “Buddy”- his companion for 10 years. Jim was an avid fisherman and hunter in his early years. In his later years, Jim preferred to watch cows, and grass grow with childhood friend, Charles Hampton. He raised two sons, Lane and Jimmy, Jr. to love and appreciate hunting and fishing. Now that same love and appreciation has passed on to his grandson, Aaron and his great grandson, Brantley Crawford….
