Mr. Jim Beson, 55, of Hazel Green, passed away on Wednesday.
He was a 1982 graduate of Johnson High School and was employed by Shoney’s Restaurant where he worked as a manager for a number of years. He owned and operated Jim’s Hobble House, Country Video, and Jim Beson’s Excavating. Jim was a friend to many and was well-known the Hazel Green community and was a part of the Hazel Green United Methodist Church family.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Smith, and by his spouse, Martha Bertus Beson.
Surviving family members include his son, Kevin Beson of Huntsville; His step-father, David Smith of Hazel Green; His biological father and step-mother, David and Judy Beson of Kawkawlin, Michigan. His brother and sister, Kevin Lee of Pinconning, Michigan and Lisa Lake of Bay City, Michigan.
