Jim Andy Donald was born January 27, 1921, in Belle Mina, (Limestone County), Alabama to the late Jim and Savannah Miller Donald. He was a resident of Moulton, AL. He departed this life on January 10, 2016.

Jim gave his life to Jesus Christ at an early age and was a dedicated servant of the Lord until he departed this life. He was a faithful member of the Mt. Zion C.P. Church in America church family, where he served as a dedicated Deacon, member of the Male Chorus, Senior Choir, Unity Choir and the Male Unity Group until his health failed and he was no longer able to attend.

Jim was a veteran of the United States Army and served from August 10, 1943 until February 1, 1946 when he was honorably discharged.

He was joined in Holy Matrimony to Hattie Woodruff Donald who preceded him in death as did his parents, and a brother, Carl Donald. He was later united in Holy Matrimony to Erma L. Owens in June 1991.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife of 24 years, Erma L. Donald of Moulton; three children, Sandra Lockett of Decatur, Don L Donald of Moulton and Billy W (Pamela) Donald of Huntsville; two sisters-in-law, Eliza Crittenden of Huntsville and Carnell Johnson of Moulton; a brother-in-law, Blanton (Wilma) Owens of Mequon, WI; six grandchildren, James D. Lockett of Odenton, MD, Terri D. Scott of Mableton, GA, Kanen L (Kimberly) Lockett of Hartselle, Keisha D. Tiggs of Decatur, Savannah Donald and Jarryd Donald of Huntsville; nine great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
