Jewel Cutchin Jackson age 84, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2010 at a Pensacola Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was a dedicated wife, loving mother and grandmother who loved the Lord and her family. She was a resident of Marianna from birth until entering an assisted living facility in Pensacola, Fl in February 2003. Jewel was born on April 13, 1925, in Marianna, Florida to Roy A. and Mary Belle Cutchin. She attended vocational school to become a bookkeeper and worked for many years as a bookkeeper for McKee Engineering in Marianna. Jewel loved to work in the yard and garden. She also loved animals and always had a couple of dogs close by her side. She was an excellent cook and took pride in providing holiday meals for the family. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Curtis Edward Jackson. She is survived by her four children, Robert A. Jackson and wife Angela of Marianna, Ronald E. Jackson and wife Margaret of Pensacola, P. Cheryl Jackson of Pensacola and Richard W. Jackson of Marianna; six grandchildren, Ronald E. Jackson, Jr. and wife Kristen of Melbourne, Fl, Stephanie Darden and husband Chris of Orlando, Fl, Blake Jackson and wife Alison, of Pensacola, J. Claire Jackson of Pensacola, Alison Jackson of Marianna and Dylan Jackson of Marianna.
