Jewel Smith Gillespie, age 90 of Fayetteville, Georgia died on August 2, 2008 at Southwest Christian Hospice. She was born on February 2, 1918 in Coweta County, Georgia to the late Llewellwyn and Lora Bomar Smith. In addition to her parents, her husband, John Merlin Gillespie preceded her in death.
She is surived by son, Kenneth (Pat) Gillespie of Newnan; daughter Nadine (Ken) Schwartz of Forsyth; grandchildren, Cindy (Greg)Ivey, Mandy Gillespie,Darlene (David) Morris, Gary Schwartz and ten great-grandchildren, Ivy, Emily & Amy Morris; Cody & Zach Schwartz; Caden, Presley, Heather, Kyndal, and Cole Ivey.
