Jesusita R. Garcia, 96, entered the fullness of life on February 6, 2005. Born on December 30, 1908 to Lorenzo and Cleofas Romero, she was raised in La Plaza Vieja (Old Town Albuquerque) until she was married to Luis L. Garcia on May 17, 1926. She resided most of her life in the South Valley, and participated as a very active member of the Holy Family Church community until 1976. Afterwards, she moved to Los Chavez to live near her daughter.
