Jestin Paul Riach Kearsley, 21, of Cedar City, Utah returned to his Heavenly Father January 3, 2010.
Jesse was born June 10, 1988 to Shawna Riach and Paul Kearsley in Twin Falls, Idaho. He lived in Twin Falls, Boise, Meridian, Clearfield and Cedar City, Utah.
He graduated from Mountain View High in 2006 in Meridian and was attending Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah on a football scholarship. He had received his Associates Degree and was working on a Bachelor’s in Business.
Jesse was always athletic and excelled in all that he did. He played Optimist Football for five years in Boise, and was active in both Wrestling and Football in High School. He received many awards in wrestling taking 2nd in the State of Idaho in 2006. His love and passion was always football. Jesse’s interests also included the outdoors, many friends, and his family.
To know Jesse was to love him. When he walked into a room all eyes turned towards him. His big booming voice and air of confidence announced his arrival and his genuine love for everyone was immediately apparent. His work ethic was unrivaled because once he set his mind to something he achieved it. He prided himself on his knowledge and abilities within the fitness field, as he also taught what he practiced, as an advisory coach to students and athletes at SUU. Everyone who was lucky enough to have known him will sorely miss him.
Jesse is survived by his mother, Shawna Riach; father, Paul Kearsley; step-mom, Becky Kearsley; sister and brother-in-law, Shambre’ and Sergio; brother, Brady; sisters, Alex and Courtney; son, Titan; grandparents, Floyd and Karen, Robert and Paulette; nieces and nephew, Traystin, Kayawna and Serianna; uncles, aunts and cousins.
Jesse was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kent Kearsley.
