Jessie Raymond Brown of White Hall, Arkansas, was born February 26, 1931 at Bastrop, Louisiana, the son of the late Ollie and Lois Humphrey Brown. He was a member of White Hall United Pentecostal Church and proudly preached the Gospel for 40 years in various Churches. He had formerly worked with the Lake Catherine Parks and Recreation Department as a caretaker for Jenkins Ferry State Park in Grant County and had also served in the Arkansas National Guard. God blessed Him with a great family and Jessie enjoyed every moment He spent with them.
Mr. Brown died peacefully in his sleep at his home on Friday, April 30, 2010, at the age of 79. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Reatha Marsh Brown; a daughter, Dianne Brown and a brother, Edward Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Brown of White Hall; Sons, Charles and wife Amy Brown of White Hall, Andy and wife Tina Brown of White Hall and Mike and wife Kelly Bethea of Sheridan; Daughters, Carolyn Bryant of Sheridan; Wendy and husband Paul Dorsey of Sheridan and Lisa and husband Jimmy Archer of Lonoke; Brothers, Johnny Lee Brown of Kingston, Arizona and Jerry Lynn Brown of Bastrop, Louisiana; 20 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
