Jessie Pauline Barthelemy, 81, of Thornton passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013 at her residence with family by her side. She was born January 28, 1932 in Kingwood, daughter of the late Oscar Ray Moore and Gertude DeWitt Moore Hefner. She was raised by the Harned family from Albright. Jessie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an excellent cook, enjoyed gardening and working in the greenhouse. She always offered a warm loving home, where everyone was welcome, and dinner was always on the table. Jessie was one of the founding members of the Thornton Fire Department and the Pumpkin Festival, and was active for several years. She worked at the Emlee Lodge, was a cook at the Thornton Elementary School and was a homemaker.
