Jessie Mae Gould, a native and resident of Coffeeville, made her earthly transition on Dec. 23, 2020 while at Mobile Infirmary Hospital, with her children by her side. Jessie was born June 21, 1954 to the late George Dunigan Sr. and the late Bama Ann Pugh. A faithful and dedicated member of The Church of the Living God in Coffeeville, she was also a graduate of Coffeeville High School in the Class of 1972. After receiving her nursing certification, she worked for the Clarke County Health Department as a nurse for many years. 

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Grady Bernard Gould; two brothers, Author Mitchell and Billy Duff; and grandson, Javoni Gould. 

Left to cherish her memories are her two daughters, Michelle (Decarlos) Chapman of San Antonio, Texas and Tomeka (Gordon) Gandyberry of Chicago, Ill.; three sons, Cornelius (Nancy) Gould of San Antonio, Derek (Crystal) Gould of Coffeeville and Grady Johnson of Shady Grove; a special son, Kylien Daniels of Tuscaloosa; three brothers, Edward Duff and George (Jean) Dunigan, both of Grove Hill, and Troy Pugh of Mobile; one sister, Shirley (Carl) James of Coffeeville; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, Curtis (Corine) Gould of Joliet, Ill., and Johnny (Chung He) Gould of St. Paul, Minn.; and two sisters-in-law, Emma Gould of Coffeeville and Mary Duff of Detroit, Mich.; with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including three special friends.
