Jessie M. Stocker, 90, of Pecatonica, formerly of Freeport and Monroe, Wisconsin, died Wednesday, October 29, 2003 at Medina Nursing Home in Durand.
Born December 11, 1912 in Green County, Wisconsin she was the daughter of Ranel and Daisy (Nyman) Pinnow. She worked at Burgess Battery, then St. Francis Hospital and then did housekeeping in Freeport for Dr. and Mrs. Linden and other Freeport families.
Surviving are one daughter, Janice (Henry) Viel of Pecatonica; one son, Stanley (Ruth) Stocker of Monroe, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Jeffery (Jill) Viel, Jody (Kris) Rawson, Robin (Willie) Schneider, Shawn (Brett) Ambrose, Trudi Mayer, and Bryan Stocker; great grandchildren, Kirsten, Collin, Ryan, Dominique, Vanessa, Breawn, Kylea, and Preston, sisters, Doris Gibson of Broadhead, Wisconsin and Faith Maddix of Ashville, North Carolina; step sister, Mariella Gutzmer of Stockton; several nieces and nephews; special cousin, Marie Wunschel of Juda, Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step mother, Emma; one son Donald; one sister, Neva; one brother, John; three stepbrothers; one stepsister.
