Jessie M. Harris Edwards, 92, Anderson, died August 5, 2003 at Countryside Manor, Anderson after an extended illness.
She was born April 10, 1911 in Stokes, Arkansas, and was a resident of this area since 1941 after moving here from Morley, Missouri. She retired from Guide Lamp Division of General Motors in 1970. She was a member of Columbus Avenue Church of Christ. She was baptized in August of 1923 in Arkansas in the Church of Christ. She was a very loving and caring sister and aunt.
She is survived by her sister, Wilda & husband Wayne Bryan of Anderson, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews.
She was preceded by her husband Charles Edwards in 1963, parents Elmer & Celeste Howard Harris, brothers and their spouses Hyatt & wife Irene Harris, Gerald & wife Maurine Harris and Roy & wife Loretta Harris and a nephew Daniel Bryan.
