Jessie “Jae Weezie” Mohler-Indianapolis- age 36, announced her arrival on August 31, 1985 in Indianapolis. Her life was cut short on September 24, 2021.

Jessie had attended Hamilton Heights and Knightstown High Schools. More than anything she wanted to study veterinary medicine. Her love and passion for animals was unmatched. She had the ability to nurse animals from near death to recovery with little consideration to her needs or time constraints. She loved music (played the saxophone as well as other instruments-none very well) and was passionate about soccer, refusing to back down on the field no matter the consequences.

She had an outlandish sense of humor and could be hysterically funny in a split second, causing havoc to
everyone around her and thrived on the ability to catch people off guard.

Jessie marched to her own beat, not always aware of the consequences but always accepting of her
fate. She was passionate about life and heartfelt with her emotions. Jessie was loyal and valued the people in her life.

She gave birth to three children in her life time.  Most importantly, Jessie was a daughter, a sister and a friend.   Jessie leaves behind a saddened mother Rae-Jean Reynolds, two sisters-Aubrey Mohler of Shelbyville, daughter Josephine, Shelby Mohler Arrivilega (Andre’) of Indianapolis daughter Ritter, Great Uncle Harold Lee Carter (Phyllis) of Shelbyville and many, much loved cousins.

Her story wasn’t over, her book not finished. She was taken too soon and the void will last forever. We hope she marches softly going forward, finds her beloved Grand-dad and dogs Jody and Lucy three of the heartbeats she loved most.
