Jessie Lee Williams was born on April 7, 1957, to the union of Walter and Idella Williams in Chicago, Illinois.  Both preceded him in death.  He was the 8th of 16 children.  Three siblings, Margaret, Michael, and Robert preceded him in death.

Jessie was raised in Chicago, Illinois, where he attended elementary school and John Marshall High School.  To further his education, Jessie enrolled in Computer Business and attended Nursing School.

Jessie never married and he had no children, but he was great as uncle to his nieces and nephews.

Jessie was employed at Sunrise Rehab Nursing facility.  He retired in 2010.

Jessie was the life of the party.  He loved joking around, telling jokes and making people laugh. He was always singing, dancing and just loved having a good time.  He loved to cook, one of his favorites was greens and hot wings.

On Saturday evening, June 18, 2022, at South Suburban Hospital with his family close by his side. Jessie made his transition into eternity. Words cannot express the loss that we feel today.  We love him dearly and we will miss him desperately! But we believe that earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal!

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, six brothers, Samuel (Linda) Jones, Larry (Corlinda) Jones, Walter, Jr. (Cynthia) Williams, Jerry (Wanda) Williams, Donald and Sidney Williams.  Six sisters, Chantel (Cornell) Lane, Linda (Severiano) Anya, Diana Jordan, Mary Anne, Victoria Williams and Antoinette (Randall) Coleman, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

“My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”  ~ 2 Corinthians 12:9

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.  Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.”  ~ Psalm 46:1-2
