Jessie (Ward) Haage, 87, of Ottawa, died on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at the LaSalle County Nursing Home.
Mrs. Haage was born on January 7, 1927, in Leitchfield, KY to Aud and Eliza (Haycraft) Ward. She married George Haage on July 28, 1945, in Ottawa. She worked as a seamstress and clerk at Peerless Cleaners for many years. She is survived by her son, Edward (Sheila) Haage, of Ottawa, 2 grandsons, Dean (Amy) Haage, of LaGrange Park, and Brad (Samantha) Haage, of Ottawa, 6 great grandchildren and 2 sisters, Diane (Randal) DuVall, of Jeffersonville, IN, and Louise Metel, of Louisville, KY. She was preceded in death her husband, on December 25, 1998, a sister and 8 brothers. Pallbearers will be Dean, Brad and Tyler Haage, Bill Rowlee, Tim Bault and Aaron Delaney.
