Jessie A. (Henderson) Hubbard, 92, of Fortville, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Golden Living Center – Brandywine in Greenfield. She was born December 26, 1922 in Columbus, Indiana to the late Ambrose Eugene and Almeda Frances (Hughes) Henderson and graduated from Columbus High School in 1941. Jessie worked for General Motors/Delco Remy in Anderson, retiring in 1983.
She was a member of the Fortville Book Club and the Fortville First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Hubbard is survived by her son Dana M. Hubbard, daughter Linda E. Wedgeworth, and granddaughter Rylee Hubbard, all of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her husband Orville Hubbard, whom she married on April 28, 1946 in Newbern, Indiana; sisters Minnie M. Romine and Rachel M. Moore; and brothers: James F. Henderson, Elmer A. Henderson, Delbert E. Henderson, and Leland F. Henderson.
