October 1, 1993 – August 11, 2017Jessica Patricia Carlos Agostinho, lovely called Jess, died peacefully at CHI St. Luke’s Health Hospital at 6720 Bertner Ave, in Houston Texas, on August 11, 2017 at age of 23.Jessica Agostinho was born on October 1, 1993 in Angola to Jose and Ana Agostinho. She graduated from Baton Rouge Magnet High in 2012 and enrolled the Baton Rouge Community College BRCC computer science course, in Louisiana, having graduated with associate degree in 2014. By early 2015 she moved to Texas and enrolled at the University of Houston Downtown, having transferred to the University of Houston the following year to undertake her bachelor’s degree in computer science. She had one additional semester to graduate from UoH. During her professional career, Jessica had a year-long internship with The Government of Louisiana, and while in Texas, she worked for Chilli’s, Primorose School of Imperial Oaks and at the time of her death she was hired by LGI Homes. She was such a talented young girl who loved learning languages and had dedicated her entire life to honor Jehovah and preach about the Kingdom’s hope. She understood the need to make a good name before the Creator, when she was only 7 years old therefore, she became a publisher of the good news of the Kingdom; she did not only stand by the bible principles, but also applied them in her daily life. She was generous and care-taker, always ready to help those in needs. She was always passionate about teaching and she was often aspired to become a teacher at some given time; she had progressively been involved with bible teachings as one of her main spiritual goals. She also encouraged friends and others to pursue spiritual goals.Jessica was such a strong young girl that would always be available to reach out in support to others. need. Even during her terminally ill stage, she would show concern to those visiting her at the hospital, by asking “how are you doing” and at the end of their visit saying, ’please drive home carefully’.As a dedicated servant of Jehovah, she was baptized on 1/17/2009 and was a member of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses at Research Forest in the Woodlands – Texas.Sister Jessica is survived by her parents, Jose and Ana Agostinho, uncles Agostinho’s and Joaquim, aunt Teresa Agostinho, and Marieth, siblings, Lorena, Manuel, Vania, and Bianca.She is survived by grandparents Francisca and Joaquim Carlos and Pedro and Lourenca Agostinho.Preferred Florist: 800-707-7361
