Jessica Maria Scissons 40, transitioned to her heavenly home on March 19, 2021 in San Rafael NM. She was born May 16, 1980 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Jessica is preceded in death by her grandparents; Domingo and Rosa Maria Leon, Lydia Torres, Ernest and Beatrice Arguello; uncle, Tony Escobar.
She recently became a licensed pharmacy tech and also earned her associates degree in science and health studies. She was an avid Bronco fan and also enjoyed watching WWE. She wholeheartedly loved her fur babies Bella, Emma and Jacob. Jess had a contagious laugh that always made us laugh right along with her. Her nieces and nephews were the light of her life. There was nothing their Auntie Jessica wouldn’t do for them. She was present for every activity they participated in.
On September 19, 2009 Jessica married the love of her life Todd. He was her everything and she could not have asked for a better husband.
Jessica is survived by her loving husband, Todd Scissons; parents Domingo and Annette Leon; siblings, Elsa (Jesus), Omar (Nicole) and Brandon Leon; nephews, Damian, Omar and Izaiah Leon; nieces, Alexis, Alysia, Julia, Ariana, Alexandria Leon, Kaitlin Scissons and Lexi Oyenque; auntie, Priscilla Escobar; mother and father in-law, Vern and Sandra Scissons; brother and sister in-law, Stephen Scissons (Santee), Stephanie Oyenque; special cousins, Ernie, Sophia and Riah Escobar; other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
