WINSTED –VANDEBOGART – Jessica Lynn VanDeBogart, 37, beloved mother of Michael Edward Barden, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at her home. She was born November 9, 1978 in Torrington, CT; the daughter of Michael and Betty (Ellis) VanDeBogart of Winsted. She was raised in Winsted, was a CNA and her father’s caregiver. Jess was always at her son’s Karate, was a great “soccer” mom and second mom to many of Michael’s friends. She also enjoyed helping her Dad at all the motorcycle bike runs at the Brass Horse Café. She will be sadly missed. In addition to her parents and son, she leaves her godfather, Jerry Thompson, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her godmother, Florence Johnson and her best friend, Jer Davis. The family would like to thank Tanya Lucia and Brandi Lebel for all their help during this difficult time.
