Jessica Lanay Bloomfield-Synder hung up her dog tags one last time on Monday, December 30th after a sudden and unexpected final call to the great beyond. She was the first born in a set of twins on May 10th, 1985 to Alex Bloomfield and Kristi Youngblood. Her life was full of adventure, with a special edge in mechanical prowess and a philanthropic nature.

After graduating from Layton High School in 2003, she enlisted in the United States Army where she served three tours in the Middle East and returned home a decorated war veteran.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Kristi Kay Bloomfield (Youngblood); and grandfathers, Charles Youngblood and Bruce Bloomfield. She is survived by her father Alex; sisters, Rebecca and Chelsy; grandmothers, Heidi and Pam; and niece, Aspen.

Although, she will be deeply missed, there is great comfort in knowing that Jessica went out with her boots on and courageously donated her organs as her last living legacy. She was heroic enough to give her unfortunate death meaning, and served as an inspiration living her life to the fullest.

We are sure Mom was waiting for her with open arms on the other side of the veil.
