On April 21, 2019, Jessica Danielle Knapp, found peace in God’s arms. Jess is the beloved daughter of Theresa and Charles Roberts and Paul and Carol Knapp. Devoted sister of Tammy Singh and her husband Abhishek (Sunny), Charles Roberts Jr and his wife Tiffany and Jennifer Knapp. Also survived by her cherished niece Brianna and nephews Brady, Benjamin, Brennan, Charlie, and Michael. Her many aunts and uncles and cousins each held special places in her heart. She was preceded in death by her adored grandfather & grandmother Clifford & Marylyn France.

Jessica leaves behind, A HUGE family of friends. Care givers and doctors that became much more. Those that she grew up with, those she went to school with, those she went to concerts with, those that she spoke with on Facebook,  those she counseled, and those she made crack up with her special wit when they needed it most. Her best friend, Katie Ryan was a constant source of support and love along with her family that adopted Jess as one of their own. Jess especially loved all the babies. They always made her days better.

Jessica was born with MPS, a rare genetic disorder that affected her heart, stature, and capacity to live a “normal life”. Jess never allowed that to define or stop her from doing things her way though. If it was possible, she did it, if not she recruited someone to get it done for her. Jessica was a “girly girl”. She loved penguins, Tweety Bird, Mickey & Minnie Mouse, and everything about Supernatural, her favorite TV show.  She participated with great pride as a band member in the Kenwood marching band and was awarded the Silver K at her graduation.

Jess adored and lived for her family, even when some of us had made her “LIST” Her favorite times were when her family and friends would gather to eat, laugh and gossip.

In retrospect, she lived an “extraordinary life” and brought joy to others through her innocence, sweet disposition, wit, and sassy attitude.  She has experienced incredible love in her short life.

She loved her family and knew that God loved her. We joyfully and tearfully know that she is in God’s arms and we look forward to being reunited with her in heaven. She touched and inspired so many lives. Her life left a deep impression, and with that, a feeling of emptiness in her passing. That emptiness will be filled with memories of her . We will fill it with the Legacy of Jessica…..and she will be in our hearts and lives forever. Her life carries on every day in her big beautiful family. The depth of our sorrow is only appeased by our knowledge she is free. Fly high on our love little one. Until we meet again.

On May 5,2019 from 2 pm- 6 pm we will be celebrating Jessica Danielle Knapp’s life at the Oliver Beach Community Hall, 13203 Susquehanna Ave, Middle River, MD 21220.
