Mr. Davis was known as an avid “backyard” farmer, which in later years turned into 5-gallon bucket heirloom tomatoes on the deck. He also was the family wine marker–sometimes good, sometimes not, but all drank it anyway. Lots of laughs, some tears, but always, he had a life-lesson to teach as that was his passion. Until the day he passed there was always at least 1 or 2 former students a month who recognized him out and about. “Until we meet again, Adios Señor Davis.”
