Jesse V. Harris Sr., 67, of Three Oaks, Michigan died Sunday morning, August 17, 2008 at his home. Jesse was born February 2, 1941 in Marked Tree, Arkansas to Charles F. and Lola Mae (Fraser) Harris.
On August 23, 1958 he married Ernestine E. Keele in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. They would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in only six more days. Jesse moved to Three Oaks in 1966 to make a home for his family. He was employed by Lakeside Manufacturing in Stevensville, Michigan before retiring in 1996.
Survivors include his wife, Ernestine E. Harris of Three Oaks; sons, Jesse V. Harris Jr of Triangle, Virginia and Ernest Floyd Harris of Manassas, Virginia, both graduates of River Valley High School; granddaughters, Jessica (Michael) Robinson and Bethany Harris and many nieces and nephews.
