Jesse Bryan Robinson, 75,of Belton passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017 in Temple.
Jesse was born on November 8, 1941 in Temple, Texas to Bryan and Laverne (Elza) Robinson. He graduated from Temple High School in 1960 and attended Temple Junior College from 1960-1962. In 1963, Mr. Robinson started working for Minimax Grocery Store in Belton and worked there for 38 years. After leaving Minimax in 2001 , he began working for HEB Belton and worked there until he passed away. Jesse married Kay Jordan in Temple, Texas on June 1, 1962 and they were married for almost 55 years before he passed away. Mr. Robinson was a member of First Baptist Church in Belton for over 40 years and also served as the secretary of the Temple Gun Club.
Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his brother, Alfred Dean Robinson. He is survived by his wife Kay of Belton, sons Gregory Robinson and his wife Laurie of Temple and Terry Robinson and his wife April of Temple, daughter Rebecca Robinson-Francis and her husband Robert of Austin. Also surviving Mr. Robinson are 9 grandchildren, Codie Robinson, Bryan Francis, Casie Robinson, Devin Lappen, Calvin Francis, Caleigh Robinson, Jennifer Robinson, Sarah Robinson, and Haylee Robinson.
