Jerzy Bogdan Popsuj, 71, of New Britain, beloved husband of Ewa (Cieslik) Popsuj, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at his home. He was born in Przasnysz, Poland, on March 8, 1951 son of the late Edward & Aniela (Aleksiejew) Popsuj. In Poland Jerzy worked as a senior officer at Police Headquarters Office in Gdansk and as a Forest Guard Inspector at State Forest Directorate in Gdansk. In the US he was a Technician at Simplex Sale Company in New Britain. Jerzy had versatile interests, his hobbies included: history, geography, sport, meteorology, nature & environment and most favorite politics. He liked to learn new things which meant that he had a lot of degrees and certificates. Jerzy was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his wife, Ewa, he is survived by his children: Ania Szewczyk and her husband Mateusz, Andrzej Popsuj & Piotr Popsuj; his step-children: Michal Krukowski and his wife Agnieszka & Agnieszka Dumais and her husband Jared; his grandchildren: Michal, Adas, Julian, Sylwia and Franek; his step-grandchildren: Sophie, Octavia, Natalka and Agatka; his sisters: Malgorzata Lazicka and Wislawa Malik and their husbands.
