Those left to honor Jerry’s memory include his wife, Connie of Newton; his step-son, David (Julia) Conn of Newton; step-daughter, Jodi (James) Holloway of Newton; his three grandchildren–Lance Holloway, Jenna Conn, and Dustin Conn; two sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; his aunt, Jane Lemonds; and several cousins.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Wilson and Ruth (Overmyer) Starrett; and his grandparents.
Jerry was a graduate of Newton High School.
Jerry was a member of the Izaak Walton League. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and talking with his grandkids. He was an avid reader and channel surfer.
