Jerry Wayne Pearson, 64, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2022, in his sister’s home after listening to his favorite song, “Free Bird”. Jerry was born January 15, 1958, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Fred and Annie Pearson.
Jerry is remembered fondly as a kind man with a generous heart who was always trying to give things away, and who would quite literally give you the shirt off his back. Jerry was a hard worker who worked as a maintenance man for 1800 Associates for 8 years and Pease Tires previously. There wasn’t anything he tried that he wasn’t good at.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Annie Pearson, his son Justin Pearson, brothers Rodger and Michael Pearson, and sisters Tena Maxey and Willie Jane Pearson.
Jerry is survived by his sisters Brenda (John) Blanck, Ann Harp, Pamela (Frank) Fields, and Kathey Mahurin, his son Dustin Pearson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
