Jerry W. Pennock, age 66, of Atlanta, IN died October 8, 2013. He was born July 1, 1947 at Elwood, IN to Clifford Wayne and Pansy May (Petty) Pennock of Tipton, IN. He was a 1965 graduate of Tipton High School and a 1967 graduate of Sams Technical Institute (now known as ITT) at Indianapolis with an Associate’s Degree in Electronics. He served his country on active duty in the US Army attaining the rank of SP5. He served 18 months in Okinawa and taught electronics at Ft. Monmouth, NJ.
He married Pauletta (Ehman) Pennock on April 13, 1968 and to them two beautiful daughters were born: Cheryl Ann (Pennock) Crouch and Terri Lynn (Pennock) Clayton.
He was a 30 year retiree of Delphi Electronics and Safety (formerly Delco Electronics) where he was an electronic analyst. He had been involved in several personal businesses. He was a partner in P&H Video at Tipton, a partner in IMK Computer Sales at Russiaville, IN and a partner in Clouser Custom Computers of Elwood, IN.
He was a retired member of UAW Local 292, a past member and representative of United Steelworkers Union, and a past member and representative of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees.
