Jerry W. Gibbons 66 of Terre Haute passed away at 4:13pm on Oct 3, 2012 in
St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on May 19, 1946 in Clinton to
Warren E. Gibbons and Mildred Hutson Gibbons. He served in the US Army
during the Vietnam War. He was retired from the Milwaukee Railroad as an
Engineer. He was a member of the VFW 972, American Legion 104, and the
Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by two sons David Magill (Kelly) of Mitchell, IN., and Jerry T.
Gibbons (Tiffany) of Bedford, IN. Four grandchildren; Harley Magill , Macy Sykes,
Haley Sykes and Dakota Sykes. Two brothers; Donnie Gibbons (Sharon)
of Terre Haute, Greg Gibbons (Dorothy) of St. Bernice and a sister Deborah Taylor
of Bedford, IN. Also, several nieces and nephews.
