Jerry T. Scarkino, 69, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully at the home of a friend following an extended illness Dec. 6.
He was born in New Orleans, La., March 20, 1947, to the late Carl and Parthenia (Smith) Scarkino, Sr.
He is survived by a daughter, Wendy Scarkino of Aurora, Colo., and a brother Carl Scarkino, Jr. of New Orleans.
Brothers Pete and Richard Scarkino precede him in death.
