Jerry Lynn Swilley, 63, passed away Monday, June 25, 2012 at his home.
Jerry was fun-loving and entertaining. Wherever he was, people knew to there would be a good time and a good laugh. Jerry had just retired from the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office where he had served for 27 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aimison Gemeson Swilley and Alice Katherine Kennedy Swilley; and his brother Michael Aimison Swilley.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Vanderford Swilley; daughters, Stephanie Ann Bradshaw (Ricky), Emily Nicole Anderson (Sim), and Sara Elizabeth Tuggle (Chris); sisters, Cindy Swilley East, and Judy Swilley Malouf (Mitchell, Sr.); grandchildren, Danny Smith, Karley Ryals, Angel Lewis, Raven Bradshaw, Rhett Bradshaw, Carter Pinkerton, and Swayze Tuggle; one great-grandchild, Landon Lewis; and many nieces and nephews.
