Jerry Ray Mattick, 56, Anderson, died February 2, 2006, at Community Hospital, Anderson after a brief illness. He was born February 23, 1949, in Terre Haute, Indiana, and was an Anderson resident for 18 years.
He was employed at the Anderson Post Office where he will be missed by his co-workers. He served his country proudly in the US Marine Corps for six years and two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged with a Purple Heart after being wounded three times.
He is survived by his two brothers, Victor Mattick and Emerson Mattick both of Indianapolis, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius & Artie Lamb Mattick, and five sisters, Cleta Ball, Bonnie Stultz, Rosemary Brune, Carol Lilly, and Ruth Conrad.
