A native of McNeill, MS, he was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved was preceded in death by his parents, Pat Harrison Spiers and Doris Thompson Spiers; his wife, Willie Mae Frierson Spiers; his daughters, Deborah Reiss King and Rhonda Spiers; his son, Patrick Slaydon Spiers; and his sisters, Linda Harberson and Barbara to cherish his memory are his daughters, Susan (Glenn) Moran, Amanda Spiers, and Tracy (James) Brunet; 10 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; his sister, Brenda (Jack) Stockstill; and numerous nieces and nephews.
