Jerry Lee Shank, 63, Anderson, died October 9, 2008 at his residence.
He was born February 23, 1945 in Anderson, and was a lifelong resident. Jerry had previously worked at Pittsburgh Paints and Linders on the Point. He was a member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge #174, and a past president and founding member of The Jive Five. He was a piano player and enjoyed photography.
Survivors include his children, Kenny Shank of Cincinnati, Ohio, John Shank of Jasper, Tonya Shank Wilhoit & husband, Keith of Anderson, and Stacy Shank Dawkins & husband, Todd of Indianapolis; mother, Alice Summers Wilcox & husband, Emmett of Anderson; stepmother, Virginia Shank Lee; siblings, Larry, Diane, Dennis, and Ruth Ann; grandchildren, Brittney Wilhoit and Aaron Wilhoit, both of Anderson; and his special friends at the Eagles.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cliff Shank; and grandmothers, Charlotte Fisher and Ruth Shank
