Jerry Lee Hagenbuch, age 84, of Vandalia, died peacefully early Saturday morning, November 3, 2018, in the Timbers of Cass County.Jerry was born July 19, 1934 in Three Rivers, Michigan, the fifth of six children born to Floyd and Violet Hagenbuch, Sr.
He married Carole Ann Bailey April 2, 1955 in Angola, Indiana. She survives.Jerry liked hunting, fishing, and archery. He was known to his golfing and bowling buddies as “Jake.” Jerry belonged to the Elks and the Moose lodges. His family says he was a comedian even up to his last days. Jerry will be greatly missed by family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Caorle Hagenbuch of Vandalia; two daughters, Deborah Motter of Portage, Michelle (David) Gordon of Vandalia; two sons, Stephen (Debbie) Hagenbuch of Lawton, Clu (Kristine Widerquist) Hagenbuch of Cassopolis; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one sister, Nola Crain of Kalamazoo; one brother, Kurt (Diane) Hagenbuch of Three Rivers; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Bernadette Long, Deloris Hagenbuch; and one brother, Floyd Hagenbuch, Jr.
