Jerry Lee Caldwell, 73 of Sharpsburg, GA passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at his residence. He was born March 9, 1944 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Willard S. Caldwell and R. Bernice Conrad Caldwell. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Dennis Caldwell and James Caldwell. Mr. Caldwell retired from Consolidated Freightlines in Elgin, IL in 1999. After moving to Sharpsburg he worked for Southtowne Motors in Newnan, GA for over ten years. He loved spending time with family, watching Ohio State and University of Georgia Football and Nascar. He enjoyed Yardwork, Planting Trees on the family property, Camping and traveling with his wife. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, nephew, cousin and a great friend to all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Suzanne Uhrig Caldwell; son, Jason L. Caldwell; daughters, Amanda (Jennifer) Caldwell; Lindsey (Benjamin) Stricker; granddaughter, Eva Louise Stricker and brother, Donald A. Caldwell.
