Jerry LeBron Forester, Sr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2011. A lifelong resident of the North Georgia area, he was born on September 24, 1942 to Roy and Grace Tinker Forester, both of whom preceded him in death. Also preceding him was a beloved sister, Pauline Forester Cochran. His joy in life was his family which includes his loving wife of 46 years, Elizabeth Elaine Ivey Forester, a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry Lebron “Rusty” and Angela Forester of Tyrone, GA; a daughter and son-in-law, Ivey Michelle “Misty” Forester and Bobby Wooten of Ringgold, GA. He cherished his two grandchildren, Duncan Kumar and Eryn Grace Forester, know n to them as “Gupaw”. A deeply loving brother, he is survived by brother and sister-in-law, Walter “Buddy” and Bettie Forester of Cartersville, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Nancy Forester of Ringgold, GA; and sister, Beatrice Forester Locey of St. Elmo, TN; several loving nieces and nephews and numerous caring friends.
